8 out of 10 children, ages 0-5 in Routt County, are touched by Family Development Center programming.

Break out all those good luck charms and make your way over to The Steamboat Grand on Saturday March 11, 2023 in the heart of winter for the Family Development Center’s Casino Night fundraiser.

We are excited to bring back this Local's favorite fundraiser! The family-friendly, no-pressure event has been helping raise funds for programs beneficial to Routt County families for over 26 years.

On top of great games, like Texas Hold ’em poker, blackjack, and roulette, the silent auction is also a big draw. The auction runs from 7 to 9 p.m.. It features prizes like Life Essentials microcurrent treatments, retro Coors and Budweiser coolers, one-of-a-kind artwork, and 1-week summer hockey camp, and gift certificates galore including a roundtrip domestic flight on Southwest Airlines!

Dealing cards and rolling dice starts at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 11 at The Steamboat Grand.

Tickets are $40 and are available here on EventBrite (and through Discovery Learning Center parents).

Ticket price includes $300 in gaming chips to "fun" gamble, desserts, and a silent auction.

All money raised at Casino Night will benefit the 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations: Discovery Learning Center; Child Care Network; and the Newborn. Proceeds go to updating our secure entry system, scholarships and professional development.
